Your Frequently Asked Questions answered…

What do I need to wear?

You will need to wear clothes that you can move freely in, for example gym wear. Close fitted shorts will help you to grip the pole with your legs.

We will more than likely be bare foot when we are training on the pole but you should come in trainers to our sessions.

Avoid moisturising the night before a pole training session as this will reduce your grip on the pole, which is unsafe.

What level of fitness do I need to have?

You do not need a high level of fitness. In fact, I could be your starting point for getting fit and leading a healthier lifestyle.

You do not need any previous pole experience to train with me. I shall develop a training plan that suits your current level and goals.

If you have experience of pole, then this is also fine, as we can build and develop control, strength and improve technique.

Am I a suitable age to pole?

If you are over 16 then yes! However, if you are under 18, I will need parental consent.

There is no upper age limit! You must, however, be in good health to attend our sessions so please do let me know if you have any medical concerns.

I am concerned about a medical condition. Can I still train?

This depends on the concern. Please contact me with these concerns and I shall see if and how I can help.

I am pregnant. Can I still train with you?

Unfortunately, for health and safety reasons, I cannot train you if you are pregnant.

I have just had a baby, can I train with you?

It may be possible to train at 12-16 weeks after you have had your baby.

However, each person is different and I recommend that your doctor clears you for exercise before returning to any form of training.

Are you first aid trained?

Yes I am! If you would like to see my certificate you are more than welcome to ask.

Am I the right size for pole?

Of course you are!

I named the business MUSCLES and CURVES for a reason! Any size or shape, we can tailor the course to suit your needs and goals.

Can men join?

Regrettably, due to my particular circumstances I am not able to train men, although if you are a male, looking for pole fitness classes in the area, I will happily point you in the right direction!

What are the payment options?

You can pay for a 4 week training course anytime before your start date, via our booking page, which accepts Paypal payment or bank transfer.

After that, you may also pay cash in advance in person if that’s easier.

I do also offer a Pay As You Go option, although the course option is better value for money.

I also offer a discount for signing up with a friend.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

I am unable to offer a refunds.

However, if you let me know at least 48hrs before the date of you next session, we will more than likely be able to reschedule a date for your next session.

Please read our full T’s&C’s before making payment.

How do I pay?

You can pay via Bank Account Transfer, PayPal or cash in advance.
